After restaurant managers turned down his requests for ingredient info, this Harvard-trained scientist dove into Dumpsters and crawled through the trash to get to the bottom of his food cravings. Once he unraveled the mysteries hidden in the wrappers, he set out to rewire his brain. And he happened to be the commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration.
